How I got started

💔 My Breaking Point Became My Turning Point

Like so many women, I spent years taking care of children, customers, and responsibilities… but not myself. Little by little, my weight crept up—until one day I found myself over 200 lbs, exhausted, depressed, anxious, overwhelmed, and completely stuck in emotional eating.

Chocolate wasn’t just a treat—it was my comfort, my escape, and my addiction.

I felt out of control in my own body.

My journey into natural health started back in 1994, when I opened my very first health food store. I didn’t just learn about supplements, nutrition, and wellness—I lived it, breathed it, and shared it with everyone who walked through my door. 30 years later, the natural health field is still my passion.

But my journey hasn’t been easy… not even close.

I lost my father when I was just 15. Overnight, I had to leave school and become the support my mother needed. As life went on, I raised three sons, worked full-time—often nights so I could care for my kids during the day—and even studied law in between it all. Eventually, I immigrated to Canada to give my family the life they deserved and rebuilt my career from the ground up.

I’ve spent a lifetime taking care of others…
And like so many women, I forgot to take care of myself.

While building a business and raising a family, my weight crept up—slowly at first, then suddenly I was over 200 lbs, exhausted, overwhelmed, and trapped in emotional eating. Chocolate was my comfort, my escape, and my addiction. I felt like I had lost control of my own body.
